I wish I could read the full novel in English! Is it available?
I first saw Ying'er in the French CCTV "Le Printemps de XiaoJu" and "L'automne de XiaoJu" with French subs. I Wonder what the Chinese name of those series is...
Anyway I became an instant fan of Ying'er and started watching "The Painted Skin 2".
IMO It doesn't matter that she looks chubby and unfashionable in "Sealed with a kiss". It actually agrees with the script to see a tall fleshy unsophisticated young woman victimized by a small taut wiry older distinguished man like MSQ.
