Welcome back Goofy! time for celebration since Goofy is back, healthy and her skill of writing is better than ever. We are just happy that you're back .
Thanks for the update, I thought I would forget who's who, but no problem at all to my surprise.

"hope that this chapter will last the readers until the next update. It turns out to be quite a long chapter. "

Goofy, your story is too interesting, that I just had to read it in one sitting. It's too addicting.

That Li Wei guy, I'm not sure that he's a likable person. I feel sorry for Madame Li.
I hope that Yang Qui-er is safe with him.

Woohoo! Goofy's back! The story is progressing very well and the romance is doing just perfect . The only thing that made me go "Yikes!" though was when Madam Li thought to herself that the Brothrel wasnt open. Meh, seeing the kind of man Li Wei was, I just figured that he didnt go to such places. Then again, maybe im just misunderstanding a certain part of the whole story :S. Anyways Glad to see you back and cant wait for more .

Cool

There was one very important clue in this new post.

thanks for enjoying it. I actually rewrote the chapters several times to get the most effective dialogues.

I can be too long-winded sometimes so just let me know when it gets too boring.

Appreciate your supports...

Is the clue in this paragraph?

"On the bed, Madam Li closed her eyes tiredly. He seemed to be very forceful today. She wondered what happened last night. “Maybe the brothel downtown didn’t open the business.” She sighed ruefully before getting dressed to meet her husband at the main hall. She did not feel well, but she had a lot of work to do. "

I thought tho, that the am sickness doesn't come right away.

Hi Goofy,

Just to let u know i'm still an avid reader.
Have not read ur last few chapters as i've got to start from the beginning coz the details got a bit fuzzy after the long break. & i wont do ur work any justice by not giving it the kind of attention that it deserves.

that is just a minor clue, but there is more important one.

In fact, after the story ends, if you reread it again, you will see that I have left clues throughtout every chapter.

Dear Bubeng,
if you are getting confused, then the story is effective.

Bubeng, I am just teasing you.

From now on, I will post the update at the story vault section but please keep on commenting here.

Update: chapter 12, 13, and 14.

Enjoy and thank you for reading.

Now that I read more JY's and GL's works, I come to realize that my stories can only be the fanfic. Alas they are so inferior to those great authors'works.

Goofy, regardless of what u think, your stories are excellent. I can't wait for all the love triangles to get straightened out (or maybe cut off). Keep up the good work!

Thumbs up

Goofy,

Somehow the chapter 12-14 were a little confusing for me. Maybe because there were too many events going in and out too fast, or I'm just too simple minded.
I had a hard time remembering & diffrentiating the names Ah Mei, Ah Xiang, Ah Xiao, and Ah Xia.
However, after rereading the chapters carefully I've gotten it straight .
So, there's someone above Ah Xiang. The queen phoenix?
That Li Wei is such a womanizer, those girls better watch out. I'm glad that Yang Qui Er didn't fall for him.
It's amazing how you can write so much in such a short time. Keep up the good work.

Cool

I probably should call them by titles - golden phoenix, etc.

but I was out of the name ideas at the time.

anyhow, glad that you understand everything all right. Personally, I like the fast event because there are so much to tell, otherwise I might have to write up to 20 pages.

Cool

Added chapter 15 - a short one though.

Hopefully, I can wind up the first book in a few chapters.

More interesting events will come soon.

I realize that because of multi-cast, the character development might not be as detailed as 'Quest'.

But hope that the plot will make up with it. anyhow, let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you for reading.

hey Goofy,
Love your story as always. I love chapter 15 even tho it's short. I love how the 3 girls get along, but yet i have the feeling that they are going to go thru a lot and have their friendship or "sisterhood" tested! i hope that they will still be good friends at the end!!
I am still getting use to going to the story vault to read your story, i guess i am use to reading it here, because i love to read the comments at the same time...hehe...but keep up your good work and i am anticipating your updates!!! i check almost everyday... hehe.....

Goofy, you can be quite sure there are more than 2 readers, most r just silent ^^. About the poster, its Awesome as usual, very fresh looking . I don't know the names of HK actors as Danielle does, so I have no idea who the character in the middle is, although he is a good actor (Qien Long old serial, and FSY). I'm kinda hoping he doesnt play as Li Wei though, I have a feeling he is gonna turn into a Fake Gentleman soon .

the fact that Adam's pic is big is b/c the poster maker is his fervent fan.

Do you think I should put the image in every chapter or once in every 4 or 5 chapters?
