I'm a sports sub-editor. I'd prefer not to divulge which paper I work for.

sorry i'm a little late on this but better late than never...

much much thanks and appreciation to all the hardwork that goes into the translation so that ppl like me (illiterate chinese) can enjoy these awsome stories in their original form.

Much thanks to Noodles for the current tranlation of ROCH...really appreciate it. I haven't done this much for a while ( at least nothing pure novel-based...believe me....i read so much other crap my eyes needs a tranplant soon hehe)

    Thanks Again!

hmm, are those people you mentioned ok for the info you posted?

Not that they were such secrets, but they might not like it.

    Well, I gave mine.

I made that comment in the sense old ladies in the US/Europe plays lots of bridge while lots of old ladies in China plays mahjong.

I go to a really popular bridge club in the city. The people there are basically 75% old white ladies, 20% old white men, 5% middle aged people, and negligible number of anyone under the age of 30.

I PM'ed almost everyone on the list before posting the details, asking their permission to make those bio-details public.

    Smile Wuxia Translators

This is just to thank everyone that translates Wuxia on this site or anywhere. I looked for Wuxia for years and didn't know it existed. It's like I knew it was there, but I didn't know where to look. I finally found out about Wuxia a couple of years ago and since then have read everything that I can. I wish all Jin Yong and Gu long stories were translated. I would read them all back to back. Especially Jin Yong.

Hopefully someday Wuxia authors will be appreciated in the west more than they are now. I'm in Nashville, TN and I personally don't know anyone into wuxia or know anyone that knows it even exists. It sucks. If everyone would read these stories it seems that everyone in the world would like them (the ones by the good authors anyway). I want to learn to read chinese just to read wuxia and the classics. I'm learning Laotian now because my sifu in Laotian, but I've wanted to learn at least one dialect of chinese for a long time and then learn to read chinese.

Thank you Meh and to everyone else that translates Wuxia. There are no words to describe how thankful I am to be able to read these translations and without you and other translaters we wouldn't have these great stories in our lives. Thank VERY VERY VERY much for all your work.

    Thank You
