i think most movies are taking the step like 6th sense where they build up the suspenses for the viewer... this can lead to very boring movie.

The Other was like that.

I enjoy 28days later but I can see why many dont' like it because it doesn't have stars in it. Just regular brits.

YOu mean the original one... yes it was boring... but the reason it was scary because of the sublimal pictures between the film clips that your mind sees but your eyes don't that put the fear into the viewer. Of couse they ban the use of that... maybe now when you want it... it is not as scary as it was once release in the theatre.

The prequal is coming out this year.

i don't think those chucky movies were scary, but some part were disgusting to watch.

'the others' wasnt scary and to me it's just another boring movie which doesnt deliver the message well ti the viewers.

you are a brave lil girl. after i watched it on theathers when it re-release with extra features and clips, i couldnt sleep for 2 days. but the thing is after thinking about it more and more i got tire and fell asleep with out notice . i think thats one of the scariest movie out in america, and then everything else sucks and not even close to getting me scare.

i didn't know that! what subliminal pictures were inserted; can you describe them to me?

i find every movie scary and non-laughable; therefore i haven't seen any of the ones you've posted except for the others and some of the freddy movies. i know, i'm a wimp. i even found the passion super scary.

anyhow, can someone be kind enough to give me a description of some of the subliminal messages/pictures? i want to know what can possibly frighten the subconscious mind when the entire movie fails to (in reference to the original exorcist).

I heard it from simple image like skull and crossbones to grusome murder pictures from the actual crime scenes.

Btw is not in the film anymore. There is a law against that.

Coke used to do this with movie films... have image of someone drinking their product... make people thristie and then they go buy the over price pop in the theatre

at first i tot very very scary cause of the news of the Japanese guy got heart attack in the cinema while watching the show...

i think horror movies won't b scary if you think that everything is fake. it's not that what you see in the movie is scary but the music and scenes that shock you all of a sudden.

Freddy VS Jason...that movie was dumb in a way. my cousin's girlfriend though that that movie was so scary....Inner Sense was scary until the ending...but the ending was reasonable because the girl died young and inmature so of course, she'll be inmature.
