Saw a few eps of Ancient Terracotta War Situation. Not quite sure what to think of the series but I kinda liked this guy.

^^ I hated the series because I couldn't stand Ady's immature character. However, the two earliest incarnations of Du Chun (pre-21st century) were so dashing. I don't think he's conventionally handsome, but he has such great expressions...for some reason not captured well in screen shots. He was exceedingly funny in "Rent a Girlfriend Home for New Year's" but the female characterization was inconsistent towards the end of the series Du Chun was great though.

Yeah. I thought he was funny in that drama too. I just recently watched in on viikii.net. I liked the drama and how it showed the struggles and differences between the young and the old, the traditional and modern.

I also like how this is one of the few asian dramas that doesn't make the love rival into an evil, spiteful girl. I actually feel sad for the other girl, especially how they mistakenly blame her for the brother's death.

From Emperor to Wuxia Hero
After the successful debut in Han Wu Dadi, Du Chun landed a leading role in a Wuxia drama, the Legend of the Banner Hero, which is adapted from famous Wuxia (Kungfu) writer Gu Long in 2005. He played a tragic hero who brought peace to the Jianghu world with self-sacrifice. He saved many people, but had to endure misunderstanding, isolation, injury, and heartbrake from love. Du Chun’s performance is vivid and touching. His martial arts action was smooth and elegant which is accredited to his six years of professional dance training. The TV drama "The Banner" won the “Most favorite Costume Drama series” in 2007. Interestingly enough, his father played the villain.
