Default How much do you trust other people here at SPCNET?

Kind of an odd question, I know. Hope it doesn't trigger World War III.

Without naming names or getting into ugly specifics, how much do you trust your fellow SPCNETers?

There are boundaries to how much a person can tell or share with another person, whether it is on an internet forum, through email, over the phone or face to face in real life. These boundaries are dependent on many factors, including the relationship between the two persons (e.g. coworkers, friends, relatives, spouses, etc), how long they have known each other, and how trustworthy each has been to the other in their past dealings. What a person eventually tells or shares with the other person is filtered through all these.

Of course, there will always be people who put their feet in their mouths quite frequently, say the wrong thing at the wrong time, or let cats out of bags. The need for some self-improvement aside, I think quite a significant number of these people do not think twice before they speak.

A lot more than I trust salespeople

I think I "trust" most members around here. I wouldn't give them my social security number or my passwords, but I wouldn't think they're out to get me with a massive chainsaw or anything :P.

But I don't trust the internet and spcnet is an open forum, so I wouldn't post anything personal on here...

I'm with Yingz, don't trust the internet, but do trust and have positive feelings towards quite a few Spcneters.
    I like me.

How much do I trust = how seriously I take them.

............. I trust nobody with my Swiss account, that's for sure!
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?
