Nicky and Wallace are very very good friends. They are both Taiwanese and both of them together with a handful of other actors (including Peter Ho), went to China to build their career there. I guess it is not surprising then that they know each other before this drama. Wallace had a cameo role in one of Nicky's production The Incisive Teacher where Nicky's co lead was his current wife, Liu Shi Shi. And Wallace accepted the cameo role out of friendship.
