I don't think guys are conditioned to do that. @_@ It's supposed to be a "girly" thing. Heck, my brother doesn't even admit he misses me when it's obvious he does!

Not directly, but I think it is fairly common for them to express that sentiment, albeit in less explicit manner.

The truth is straight guys do that all the time and we have certain ways to express the sentiment without sounding gay. Most likely you're not going to hear a guy say "yo, I miss you bro" to another guy. Instead, we may say or joke something like "hey, look who's back? Guess he's not on a short leash with his gf and ditching his homies anymore."

In the rare instance that I tell a male friend, I will be sure to say "I missed you man," and be sure to say it in a macho way not in a sentimental sissy fashion.
