Wuxia lovers: what do you wish you saw more of in wuxia fiction?

I think it is Anthony's fault that I have such an appreciation for puns (even awful ones). The way he played with language made it fun, and he knew how to write a story.

Funny anecdote I have is that his books made me a vocabulary genius (relative to my classmates) and probably the reason why I scored so high on my SAT verbal. The damn centaurs with their big words and Demoness Metria with her vocabulary problems introduced me a to a lot of new words. I was always too lazy to look them up, but context was enough for me to guess what they meant and teachers always thought I was smart hehe!

I have the same experience. I scored perfect on my standardized test in English grammar/comprehension/verbal.

LOL - I thought Anthony wrote for Playboy. I would have loved for Xanth to turn into an anime series.

Bumping an old thread, but just read Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear featuring Kvothe. Has a very wuxia feel to it and I'm dying for him to regain/reveal his power again, much like so many wuxia stories where you know the main character or old master is just biding his time before unleashing his dragon palms.

I like that while he is talented and skilled, he is still far from being able to easily accomplish mundane tasks. Guards, money, etc are all real problems for him.
