While I'm delighted that we'll get to see LSS again and Ming Dao is awfully good pulling off the rich guy character, the car accident/coma storyline is so cliche that I cringed when I read that part. Ppl really need to think of a more creative way to make characters lose their memory...

Early 'blurbs' of TW series I find are usually about as exciting and informative as a lump of wood.

I remember when first reading early material re: Autumn Concerto, there were cliche/dead boring concerns. How wrong did that turn out! Summer Desire also, bar those that had read the novel, also had a short intro blurb that read like a 2D anime plot (I was only pulled in by the prospect of a dark Barbie performance, and the potential for some angst/noir).

Actually, it was said to be a remake of some Korean Drama with the same type of storyline. I know, very cliche'...LOL

In the hands of a creative crew, cliche can work really well. Scream is essentially one big quilt of horror film cliches yet really hit the mark (not the sequels). Most Korean films share cliche elements - even to point of being formulaic - a few do remarkably well.

If director/scriptwriter(s) make intelligent use of cliches (i.e. tap into archetypes that familarizes the audience) and then polishes off with creative portrayal/insights, a seeming copycat can become quite masterly, if not enjoyable.

I am hoping that this series is something like this. Er...I've only ever seen Wang Ming Tai's Tokyo Juliet and Meteor Garden II, not too bad based on these two productions, but none of Qu You Ning's unique touch (he's sort of my TW version of Peter Jackson , they both have Santa bellies). Awaiting the scriptwriter...

Now if we had Qu You Ning and Summer Desire's scriptwriter....match made in heaven.

It's a Mainland production. Ming Dao has shifted his career to the Mainland. Happiness of an Angel is scheduled to air on Hunan TV.

LOL the summary in the first page basically just told us the entire story... honestly, the plot sounds like all kinds of cliche thrown together, but I won't judge before I watch it. Just looking forward to LSS take on another lead role im sure she will make the series enjoyable.

I have to say I like LSS, but it's an idol drama, not sure how it will turn out. I am hoping for a tragic love story...after BBJX and QSMX, I prefer sad stories.

Ming Dao, I haven't watched him in the TW series, "Frog turn into a Prince" but I don't know why, he is just a little too pretty boyish looking and lack this manly look about his, I actually think Jones Xu seem a lot older by appearance or more manly. But hey, you never know maybe Ming Dao's acting had improved since he started to tackle C-dramas, I am still looking forward to this!!
