I am currently watching "The Shadow of Empress Wu" (with English subs), and I have two questions:

1) I can't find any information about this great series online (cast, background, reviews, etc.). Does anyone know any links/sites that have this info?

2) Does anyone know the name of the actress who plays "Sheng Lan"?

I don't remember a character named Sheng Lan. Is that Empress Wu's right hand lady-in-waiting? Here's the baidu link in Chinese, but I can't find her name on the cast.

The "Sheng Lan" character was the cousin of Sheng Yang. Together with their uncle, they were secretly plotting to overthrow the Empress and Emperor so they could restore the Sui Dynasty.

Sheng Lan even appeared in disguise a few times -- as a boatman, a palace servant, etc. At one point, she persuaded the daughter-in-lay of Shangguan Yi (the prime minister executed by the Empress) to kill the Empress in prison.

The actress is quite pretty, and I was wondering who she was and what else she has appeared in.
