Has anyone heard of Leon Lai's words of wisdom (jin ju or "golden quotes" in Chinese)? Some of the stuff he says are so hilarious. I dunno if he's trying to be funny or if he's actually stupid.

Leon Lai is famous of his golden quotes. He likes to give wacky response to reporters' questions (usually the nonsense questions).

It appears to me that he is trying to make statements with alternative meaning, if u read between lines. Maybe some of the statements failed to achieve that effect.

Is he really famous for his "golden words"? I thought he is just another celebrity capable of making sarcastic remarks/making statements with alt. meaning.

I think he's just one of those people who tries to be eloquent and say things that he thinks are wise... but in reality he's not that good with words and not that smart, so he ends up with weird quotes.
