I see .28 and I'm using Internet Explorer version 9 (I think). Hopefully, everything is fixed and back to normal because being unable to post is giving me withdrawal symptoms.

You can go to "Forum Actions--->General Settings" where you can edit avatar/profile etc. If you wanted to view the new posts to the threads you subscribed to, two ways I found were to click on "New Posts" under the "Forums" sub heading, or click "Quick Links ---> Subscribed Threads" where subscribed threads that have new posts will appear on top.
