The mainland 2010 ver. It was a high end production and I was wondering if it made the cut on production fees and made good profit?

LOL, that's funny ... considering the "action" sequences are the weakest part of the TREMENDOUSLY superior series.
Usually the "fighting" scenes (few as they are) are when I stop paying attention ... until the fantastic dialogue starts up again. It's wonderful because the writing is so good, the acting is superb, and Gao Xi Xi is quite possibly the greatest director in Chinese television history. Every single scene is tense and suspenseful. For 95 f****** episodes.
Chen Jian Bin's lines as Cao Cao = GOLD. Incomparable. Without rival.
Out of EVERY Chinese television production I've watched to date ... Three Kingdoms (2010) ranks up there in the top 2-3 all-time best. ZJZ's 1994 adaptation doesn't even register.
