Heheheh Based on my clever observation, I believe it is CPR! Not just any plain ole CPR but Underwater CPR! You know the very cliche chinese-tv-series-type of "passing oxygen to a drowning person underwater mouth-to-mouth" aka a lame excuse to 'kiss'.

Notice in one of the 'kissing' picture he's at a raised level on a green box whilst she's standing? Now if this were a kiss, then it's a really dramatic one where HG leaps into the air and kisses her in mid-air... followed by a tight-slap by HG across LSS's face! hahaha...I mean look at his raised left arm/hand!

Heheheh...good points....but here is what I think. His left arm is extended because he is holding on to the fishing line while attempting to rescue her from the depths of the water. So with his arm engaged that way he cannot hold onto her face to blow oxygen into her mouth. The other arm is holding JE that way because he is holding on to her for dear life so that she does not sink further.

As for your interpretation of the picture, is he is really pulling her out of the lake, shouldn't he rescue her from the freezing water first before succumbing to his lust?
