Yes, I read some news about the making of that drama but have never heard of it being aired... not even sure whether they have finished filming it, LOL. Anyway, maybe it did air already but I really don't have any idea.

Haha, yeah, I just typed in "xiao ao jiang hu 2012" into Google the other day, and all that came up was about the adaptation Wallace was in. I head nothing about the CCTV version, and though maybe I was going crazy...lol

Lu Jia Rong (吕佳容) as Lan Feng Huang（蓝凤凰) - LFH would try to seduce TBG in this new adaptation. Also, she has more screen times than any of the previous versions plus she plays an ugly person rather than a stunning person as in the novel.

I think she looks good for the role. All of the Lan Feng Huangs have been very attractive actresses (my favorite being Chen Zhi Han's) The actress who plays Yi Lin though...Deng Sha....hmm...I can't get out of my head her role in Schemes of a Beauty where she played a rather manipulative character. I actually feel that Yang Rong could have been well cast for either Yi Lin or Yue Ling Shan. All the girls look cute, though. As for Shan Shan, I am waiting for her on screen appearance :T

He used to have perfect skin and is well known for not putting on any make-up and still can hold up HD screen. But lately with all those tan powder (XMSY and Srange Hero) plus exposure under the sun continuously, his skin is not as good as before. When he shot Strange Hero he went to sleep without washing off his makeup. LSS and MTY provided him with masks and told him to take good care of his skin.

I am actually quite looking forward to this game. It seems that both sides are really getting ready for it. Hengdian said the reason of picking July 1st because it's also the day of the 15th anniversay that Hong Kong has returned to the motherland!

They are in the midst of filming this drama in Hengdian and will wrap up on July 10th. Based on some recent news this drama will be aired in early 2013. They will likely put this drama up on Youku when it is aired.

She is pretty. YSS/RYY is not too bad herself. LHC and TBG looks cool too.

If anything YZ has made sure this XAJH has the best looking cast. If his take on the story is good too then this may be one impressive wuxia series. I hope for the best. So far the cast is already a winner in my book.
