RE: YSS photoshoot

For me, I don't think that photoshoot is remotely vulgar nor has it ruined my image of RYY. If you look at it objectively, placement of body with respect to clothes, lines etc, it's actually quite artistic. RYY is a fictional character and the actresses that give each of their own unique portrayals of her only serves to enrich my perception of the character in my head. Regarding YSS herself, I'm actually surprised at her bravery of doing the photoshoot (YSS must be very confident in her body image to do a semi-nude photoshoot).

Perhaps it was not so much a need rather than a collaborative effort of the cinematographic crew or the publication itself? Looks quite professional to my eyes.

Maybe because I've seen a lot better, they look more like they copied it from somewhere else. In fact, I actually find it quite unappealing (especially the one where she wore red and the men on her side were holding instruments as well as the one on bathtub) and already boring. I feel like I wanted to skip it. Most of the pics also look crowded to me. If I wasn't looking for YSS, I wouldn't have noticed her.

Another thing, maybe because I'm used to seeing my fave chinese actresses completely dressed up (especially since I'm more interested in period drama than modern) that seeing someone play a role of a conservative type (and from my favorite chinese novel)just made me see her differently when I saw that actress almost naked.

I can see that being relevant and enhancing the story, though, since a lot of emotions go into the YBQ father-like image for picking kid LHC off the street and the YSL-childhood friends/lovers image.

Xu Qing was RYY in CCTV's 2001 version. She is being viewed as the most preferred RYY (TV series) in China.

They're doing a very good job in Hengdian in protecting the crew from being viewed in public. This is someone's photo who was trying to see Wallace through a crack on the wall. The good news is a press conference will be held for Swordsman soon. Hopefully we will see more HD photos and clips after the conference.

The person took this photo must be there for a while. As she said, it took her a hard time to take this photo. At least we now can see LHC was wearing white.
