Default Was Hong Lung 18 Palms portrayed as an LDA-martial art at any point of L/ROCH?

When Kiu Fung used Hong Lung 28 Palms in DGSD, the technique was almost invariably a long-distance attack (LDA) of chi-energy that Kiu Fung used to blast at enemies who stood multiple meters away from him. Rarely did Kiu Fung actually need to lay his physical hand on an enemy to injure/kill him with Hong Lung 28 Palms during DGSD.

In L/ROCH, Hong Lung 18 Palms was generally not an LDA technique. North Beggar Hung 7 Gung and Gwok Jing had to actually physically strike their opponents with their hands to injure or kill them. Was Hong Lung 18 Palms ever exhibited as an LDA technique during L/ROCH, though not with the range of Kiu Fung's Hong Lung 28 Palms from DGSD?

Sometimes, I wonder whether the dragon palms must be executed sequentially. Or it can be random - e.g. stance 3, then stance 1, then stance 18, ...

Didn't North Beggar Hung 7 Gung at one point yell at Gwok Jing for trying to do the palms in numerical order rather than in the order the course of the fight naturally led?

Thks for the info, Ken. Actually, our question is if the person starts with Stance 3, but it naturally lead to Stance 4, 5, 6 sequentially?

I think the user adjusts on the fly based on what the enemy is doing...or more offensively, the user does whatever works best against the enemy, and that's probably not executing the palms in a rote consecutive order.
