    Default At what point did Au Yeung Fung cross the line from sanity to insanity?

    Yes, another question about Au Yeung Fung's sanity in as many hours...

    Do you think there was one single moment in LOCH when West Poison Au Yeung Fung actually crossed a metaphorical line from sanity to insanity, or was it more a gradual slipping away of his sanity that played out over many months (of storyline time)? Au Yeung Fung's insanity did not become obvious until he began calling East Heretic Wong Yerk See, "Prince Deun" (mistaking Wong for South Emperor 1 Deng) and Gwok Jing, "Ah Hak" (mistaking Gwok for Au Yeung Hak), but was he still sane before that moment? He seemed to be sane going into that first fight against North Beggar Hung 7 Gung before Wong Yerk See arrived, but left that battle severely disoriented after Wong Yung began spouting nonsense at him.

    My belief is that although the combination of fire deviations caused by attempting the practice the faux-9 Yum Jen Ging and the stress that Wong Yung put him through had begun chipping away at Au Yeung Fung's sanity for many months, he didn't go all the way across the line to insanity until Hung 7 Gung whacked him on the head at Mt. Hua.

    i will agree with you he did still seem sane before that.

    If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
