Yep, there's definitely extensions in there. You can even see the colour and shape change where her real hair stops. Still, I prefer long hair on her.

I think the bob gives her a modern-day/youthful appeal, and once she pops the extensions on - voila: transformation! It's nice to have such variety

The long hair is definitely a better look. I liked her short hair at first because it was something new but it got boring really fast. I hope she wears the extensions more :3

I think Yu Zheng recently weibo'd about the possibility of Tangren actors working with his own actors? It was a reply to someone who said that they wanted to see Tangren actors and Yu Zheng workshop actors paired up, and they also attached a picture of LSS.
I think that might actually work, provided Yu Zheng isn't the one making it.

Like I've said before, if YZ and Karen would kiss and make up, join forces...they could be very powerful. I wouldn't mind seeing LSS and CX pair up. And Yes, provided that it's not YZ writing the script, however, IMO, Tangren is not any better-seeing how the quality of their production have been lately. Maybe they should pick a good romance novel and have Tong Hua write the script....LOL.

I'm not really seeing a decline in tangren's quality, to be honest. I think it's unfair to judge DMY before watching it. People have criticized the costumes and casting, but people were just as critical about BBJX costumes and casting when the first photos were released. I thought XYJ was very well done, and definitely of higher quality than something like CP3. CP3 was cute and funny, but the writing and acting and even the sets are definitely not as strong. Everyone is so sceptical about BBJQ but I'm really looking forward to it. We have to remember that this is a modern spinoff and there's no point in doing comparisons. Also, Tangren doesn't specialize in modern stuff so this is going out of the comfort zone.

^^I'm really not judging the series (DMY) in itself , it's the production values that Tangren seems to be declining in (as I've mentioned many post before when I was venting).

DMY. The chaos about the casting of Meng Jiu and HQB before production. Then the post production chaos with SARFT not letting it aired. I think the decision to film before getting the okied had something to do with it. That's why everything had to be kept a secret and no official pictures and media couldn't visit and such.

XYS. Filming before actually finding a main character (Xiao Xue). I find the picture quality was less appealing than CP3. CGI was terrible, even Fantasy Zhu Xian was better. I won't compare the cast/acting because it would be unfair.

BBJQ. Karen promising over and over...the same cast. Blah blah blah. If she couldn't do it, she shouldn't have said it. Spent a year writing the script, yet, the script was still not finished. They were writing the script as they were filming. The character stills were awful, especially LSS (even Nicky had the guts to say hopefully it'll get better after it was first released). I don't know, didn't seem like Tangren put that much effort into this series either. And the ordeal with Lin Geng Xin.

With BBJX and Strange Hero, the company was on top of things before and during filming. So, it appears the quality of making their productions after BBJX were lacking. I do hope the company get better and do things like they used to do.

Again sorry, just a quick rant of my own opinion
