Yeah, it does seem like it. But I'm more incline to think (at this time) that she have to keep her schedule open for BBJX2-meaning, not accepting any other series that would take months to shoot because she's the one that have to work around the other actor's (Nicky, Kevin, other non-Tangren artists) schedule? Thus, accepting short filming movies in the meantime, while waiting....

Funny how LSS didn't look too busy this year because she only had one series and two movies out. But in 2013 she'll have (assuming everything will be out) what, three series and two movies? Like wow. And she filmed them one at a time...LOL

Wait, so the movies she's been shooting are short films? That is, the 15-minute type for product endorsement? I thought Prime Detective is a full feature film which also stars Jet Li?

I think the time taken to shoot a full feature movie could be as long as a TV series.

LOL...no..no, I don't mean it like that. Prime Detective and Season of Love are full movies. I'm making assumptions that movies take less time to shoot (2-3 months) as compared to series (4+ months), that's why maybe she's doing more movies to kill the time while waiting for the BBJX2 scripts to be ready and waiting for other actors schedules?

Anyways, I don't mind her moving into movies (preferred series)...but do hope she film at least one series a year. And hopefully a more appealing movie choice. So far her movie choices are just so-so.

It's actually tough for a TV artiste to break into movies. So moving into movies does signal a career ascension for her. I'm looking forward to Prime Detective actually. For the others, the storylines don't appeal as much.

Hey all, popping in to check out what's new with LSS and HG

She's smoking on that 'For Him' cover - quite a change from her usual looks! Can't say I'm loving the new short bob as I agree with Liu Xiao Xiao that long hair makes her face look slimmer, even though she's so skinny already.

Plus the identical HG shirt and boots?! Could it be a nod towards the Asian penchant for couple dressing? Prob. getting way ahead myself, *sigh*

I just watched Sad Fairytale, the movie wasn't as anaemic as I thought it'd be, but the plot was rather lame, the directing/mood/etc were pretty decent though.
