Default Earth Hour dilemma: When the 'like' button harms the planet

Wow. I didn't know that the internet will cost so much fuel.

    http://news.asiaone.com/News/Latest%...29-336459.html

Green groups around the world are turning to social networking to drive their campaign for Earth Hour on Saturday, when lights are turned off for an hour to signal concern about global warming.

    But here's the irony.

With every e-mail, every tweet, every appeal watched on YouTube or 'liked' on Facebook, environmentalists are stoking the very problem they want to resolve.

Each time we network, we emit carbon dioxide (CO2) through the fossil fuels which are burned to power our computers and the servers and databanks that store or relay our message......

There is nothing to worry about. Live your life to the fullest and be happy, the world is not gonna end in your life time. If you want to contribute, then recycle things that can be recycled such as newspaper, cans/bottles, organic recycling, ... There is no need to listen to those environmental hypocrites. If everyone live the life like them, the world will black out. Why would average Joe and Jane need to make sacrifice while those hypocrites who use a few dozens time as much energy refuse to change.

I don't know what kind of idiot would find this newsworthy enough to write it... The Internet resides in electronics, yes? And like any good old electronic we gotta pay for the electricity powering them, yes? And electricity power is... oh, you get what I mean, right?

It's no brainer. So this article is kinda brainless and probably just wants to attack environmentalists anyway.

Who care about those hypocritical environmentalists anyway. They just tell others to make sacrifice but they themselves refuse to do the same.
