what would happen if Ren Ying Ying and Huang Rong switched stories?

I can see why you draw similarities between them, but what RYY lacks is Huang Rong's more superior intelligence and wisdom. I'm not saying RYY is stupid, but I didn't figure her as a smarty pants kind of girl.

ok what i mean was...............How would their stories have changed. Guo Jing held Huang Rong back from some things. Could he have held back Ren Ying Ying? And Huang Rong who was always somewhat jealous.......(based on LOCH 1983) how would she have dealt with how LingHu Chong was in love with his Xiao Shimei in most of their story?

Interesting question you bring up, I thought both females were pretty intelligent but of course Huang Rong was the more intelligent of the two. Ren Ying Ying can be more ruthless but that could have been due to her upbringing in the Evil Sect that she was raised in, I personally think the couples would not have ended up together if the two females switched..

Because of Ren Ying Ying's generous nature, she would've probably told Guo Jing to fulfill his promise and marry Hua Zheng. Guo Jing would listen to her and there would be no Guo Fu, Guo Xiang. Huang Rong would definitely fight for Linghu Chong's affection, unlike Ren Ying Ying.
