Hi, all! I'm trying to look for the old Japanese TV comedy drama I watched in the 1990's, and its beautiful title song.
The TV series' main story is that a father and his son falls in love with the same girl. The father's name I remember was "Sato" san, and he often enjoyed a glass of wine at home. The son had a girlfriend but while shopping for a jewelry, he saw the beautiful sales girl (the main character) at the jewelry shop and fell in love at first site. The girl drove an old (perhaps British) car that broke down often. Later, his father meets & falls for this girl too. When everyone finally realized this situation, the girl decided to choose neither the father nor the son. She admires this particular painter (who is a Japanese guy but lives abroad, perhaps in Europe) and his paintings, so it is her wish to meet this artist. The final scene of this TV series is the girl flying in an airplane on her way to meet the painter, with a glass of wine saying "Gun-Bai" (Cheers in Japanese) to the Moon.
This girl in the drama also happens to have sung the title song of this drama.
Do you know the title of the drama & the song?
Also what's her name?
Thanks & regards!
