finished it..i apparently when i first got it, the leaflet enclosed gave a short summary to each chapter..the end one differed to wot i saw..

i fink it said that seen may went to UK and returned to him 10months later ..opening the box saying yes to his proposal and ying may sat by her boyfriend's grave still weeping over him..
i did feel sorry for ying may in the end..she was blinded by wanting to become famous broadcaster..in all, she was a nice girl ...she did charity work in the end.

wot i dont get is how come her attempted suicide by drowning...made her forget her past ..was the shock of her boyfriends' death too much to take in hence the amnesia?

so sweet to see JDG win her girl back

hmm.another firm favourite of mine...someone's death does turn everything around for the better. i cried heaps wen HJS died and how yin may started to feel down

Just finished watching this series. Liked it very much and I must say Chae Rim is one major cutie! Maybe cute is too unflattering a term, I'll just say 'beautiful" because cute makes one think of children and Chae Rim sure isn't a child!

Yon, if you are here---is her name pronounced with an "R" or an "L"? I know Koreans pronounce "Lee" as "Yee" and there isn't really an R sound in the language is there (or F for that matter, right?) Oh and Sun-Mi kept calling her boyfriend "sa bum nim"...that was annoying. I can see calling him that at work, but all the time? They were too close for her to keep calling him that...at least say "oppa" away from work I felt!

I was getting a little sick of the pathetic Woo Jin character for the last half of the show. I know KSY is pretty but what guy would have put up with all her nonsense? I didn't think her haircut the last 6 or 7 episodes was all that flattering. Liked the long hair much better.

I don't think it was so realistic when Hyung-Chul was all set to propose to Sun-Mi (he had the ring-box out of his pocket and ready to hand it to her at dinner) and when she said she would go abroad he put the ring away. I would have stopped that idea right then and there and poured my heart out to her. There would be no way I would have let her not know my feelings. But it's drama...what the heck.

I'll probably wait a month and watch this through again. It was THAT good. And kudos to yesasia for the SUPERB english subtitles. They were the best I've seen yet.

Yeah, I heard yesasia done a good job on the US version of AAE, now hopefully they will do the same for a mandarin version one too....I'm still waiting for that one perfect version.....

Yeah.....I know, I'm actually after the one with due language version (madarin and korean dubbing) with Chinese and English sub. Just like the one they have for "Sucess Story of a Bright Girl".....I'm very fussy with my collection !

Her name is Kim Jung Eun...She is very pretty and is also starred in the heat series called "Romance In Paris"!

Like I mentioned in some other thread, I somehow found the ending a little too cut off. And that position is really dangerous to be standing in.

I kinda like YeonMi, though. When I was watching for the first time I couldn't stand her and the way she kept succeeding in sabotaging SunMi. Thank goodness she got better at the end. I didn't mind her that much anymore. Plus her sad life in the past. She seemed a little mentally.. off though during the scene where her dead father was lying in the hospital in the beginning.

Yep. ...the song title is "I'll Give iT All" in Korean that was sung by JDG when they were celebrating during one of the episode ...he is not the original singer for the Korean song but made it famous in the series.

I think this is the drama that started me on Korean dramas... I love Chae Rim as she portrayed such a cute and lovable girl and Kim So Yan did well as Ying Mei too... she looks so evil and seductive and cant help but hate her...this shows her good acting skills!!! Really recommend this drama!!!

his hair was done that way becos he is playing a pirate in his new movie! And he has lost a lot of weight in the new movie "Typhoon" which he will star with Lee Jung Jae (of Il Mare fame)
