Hong Kong heavenly king Andy Lau and wife Carol Chu are said to have moved into a 3000-square-feet mansion before the latter gave birth in May this year. The monthly rental fees of their new residence cost a hefty HKD $100,000 (S$15,000).
Sources revealed that Andy was looking for a new home near his parents' place ever since Carol was pregnant, in a bid to avoid the paparazzi.

The family's nest is located near their previous residence and has a garden that works as a playground for the couple's six-month-old baby girl. According to reports, Andy and Carol are still staying in their 3000-square-feet mansion with their young daughter Lau Xiang Hui.

To stay out of the public eye, Andy chose a place hidden by lush greenery, and handpicked a team of security guards for round-the-clock protection of his wife and daughter. The surroundings of the mansion are also watched by closed-circuit television. For added security, visitors are required to go through two gates before entering the house.
It is reported that the monthly costs for the tight security measures are worth more than HKD $200,000 (S$30,000).
