4drama2013, I can’t believe I missed your post the last time I visited this thread. I can’t wait to see YR and GYX work their magic onscreen again. I would be so disappointed if it’s unrequited love though. I need him to genuinely reciprocate her love at some point in the series. So here's hoping that "I'm not going back" is somehow related to their relationship. They also seem to be very reluctant to reveal any spoilers about their relationship, so it better be good!

Not sure which character, seems like she's a player in that drama herself...LOL. She's involved with Chen Xiao, Du Chun, and that character above slapping her...haha.

Seriously, what’s with all the recent characters that she has chosen to play. They all get slapped around in some way or another. YLS, Xiao Huanyun and HCJ all suffer from emotional or physical abuse. And I’m pretty sure that her character in the upcoming Palace series won’t have a dainty life either.

Seriously, what’s with all the licking? :/ Anyway, I just finished watching the movie version of Qing Ding San Sheng which is fittingly called a Chinese version of Romeo and Juliet. It totally convinced me to watch the series once it comes out. And if the series is anything like the movie, YR will get tons of love. Maybe even too much (hint, hint). I was very impressed with the actress who plays the female lead, so it’s going to be interesting to see how YR will do in the role. Both guys are so in love with the heroine but by the end I was totally rooting for the second male lead to get the girl. It is perhaps because guy2 got so much more screen time and thus more character development than guy1.

Part of me wishes that this was produced by Yu Zheng because he sure knows how to pull strings and get his work aired almost right after post-production, but this hopefully means that the series will be free of his bad storytelling.

Oh My Freakin Gawdddddddd!!!! Thanks to you I went to check out the movie and by the end I was crying like a baby! Now I know what the gist of the series will be, that is if it's like the movie. So intense!!! And I am so looking forward to it!

I wondered if the movie version switched the male leads? Because it focused more on the husband (sorry, I do not know the characrter's names...LOL) than the bandit (her lover). And I wondered if the novel stated that the husband is more good-looking than the lover? Because the movie version and the series version sure made it look like it! LOL. I thought the second male lead is cuter than first male lead (Purba) . And I'm hoping YR's character will at least "love" the man that helped her through thick and thin.

YR in some kind of show, coming out the 23rd I think.

It is sooo bittersweet! I was simply blown away by how everything ended.

I also think that the husband is better looking than the male lead in both versions, and he is so devoted to her it’s heartbreaking! I do think that Purba has his charms onscreen, but if the husband is going to be anything like the one portrayed in the movie, then Purba really needs to amp it up in order to compete. I am indifferent towards the bandit in the movie, but I have a feeling that I will love both guys in the series. I think Purba will be given as much screen time as the husband, if not more. Turning it into a series allows for more insight into his relationship with the heroine.

The husband definitely needs to be loved by YR! I really hope that they don’t deviate too much from how he was portrayed in the movie. It was so sweet that a genuine smile from her seemed to make his entire day.

Judging from the Stills we've seen so far of him, I think they will do his character justice *fingers crossed*. And I hope the heroine will at least show him some love in return. And I'm positive YR will do the character justice. I loved her crying scenes, one of the most beautiful cry out of any actresses out there.
