Default Nurse who took prank call on royalty found dead. Who's to blame?

This was big news in Aus/UK 2-3 days ago (a few articles attached). I cannot believe the hypocrisy and irony floating around on twitter + the media. Are there really that many simpletons who can't distinguish the many shades of grey? People are so keen to find scrapegoats and miss the opportunity to look inward and at the society they live in.

Wondering what are your thoughts on this?

People make mistakes and the nurse certainly shouldn't have taken this so seriously. Even though Kate is considered royalty, she is still human and ultimately no harm was done to her.

Who's to blame? As much as I'd like to blame the DJ's for doing something so idiotic, it's most likely the media for publicizing this all over the place and giving it notoriety. Without that, I'm sure the nurse wouldn't have felt so much shame as to commit suicide.

Somehow I feel that there's no worse punishment than living with guilt for the rest of your life that you may have caused someone else's death. The DJs deserve some fine for pulling such a dumb prank but ultimately there's no one single person to blame.
