Jackie Chan owns up to daughter

International action star Jackie Chan has admitted to having a daughter at a slip of a tongue during an interview with the media in Beijing while promoting his latest movie "CZ12".

When talking about his youth follies, Jackie said that he used to bring around large amount of cash with him, at times around RMB50,000 to RMB60,000. He wanted to buy everything he saw and even went as far as purchasing seven diamond watches in one day.

The star admitted that he initially made movies for the sake of money.

"Now I make movies for my son, daughter and the world to see," said Jackie.

Daughter? The slip has got the media wondering if he had just made an admission to an extra member of the family.

I don't think it's a slip of the tongue. Jackie Chan has been known to have had a daughter with this one actress whose name I can't remember right now for years now. The kid has to be in her teens by now if not approaching adulthood.

The actress is Elaine Ng Yi Lei. But I think Jackie has never officially acknowledged the daughter but who knows what goes behind the scenes within a family.
