Fan Bing Bing was seen earlier tonight in Hollywood at the 2013 Oscar Awards. She also recently closes a deal with a newly formed financier/studio to star in their first two Hollywood movie projects.

I saw her in her Marchesa gown...it wasn't good.

Her dress at the Vanity Fair party looks like ODLR. I really like the ODLR and I think her Marchesa is fine. Much better than what 99% of the other people wore, at any rate. She wore an interesting strapless in a sea of boring and tacky straplesses (+ a few generic shiny table cloths).

Though I generally like the fact that FBB takes fashion risks, I don't think this one worked out that great. The color is screaming for attention and the way it's bunched up in the middle is not flattering. FBB even made some of the worst dressed list in some of the tabloids here in the US.
Regardless, I am interested to see what Hollywood movies she will be in. I like the idea of more Asian stars in Hollywood films.
