    Default Ip Man the TV Series

    Anyone saw this new TV series on the life of Ip Man? It's a China co production with HK and Taiwanese input. Production completed Nov 2012 and I believe it was broadcast around April 2013. It goes by the names of 《叶问》电视剧版, 武林宗师叶问 and stars HK actor Kevin Cheng as the main lead.

    The coplete chapters of 41 are available on Youtube.

    On the DVD release it is 50 Episodes total, I believe, w/ both Cantonese/Mandarin tracks & Trad/Simpl soft subs. The series is OK. It is an adaptation w/ ALOT of mediocre drama, the mixing of HK & Mainland forced them dub both lang tracks using other people's voices.

    The 41 chapters are all on Youtube.
    It has it's value as it shows the early Ip Man before he took up Wing Chun. He was a Shaolin Crane exponent then.
    Yes the series is worth watching for fans of WingChun or Ip Man.
