Default What is the maximum price you are willing pay for gas?

Let assume the cost of public transportation (bus/subway/train/ect) is $100/month. What is the maximum price you are willing to pay for gas? As for myself, I would keep driving as long as I can afford but cut down on unnecessary trip. But if it costs more than $3/liter ($11.50/gallon), I might switch to Smart car.
