I'm surprised Azure Dragon has no knowledge of the Wilderness...he seems very knowledgeable. I'd think some Qiuzhenists would have explored and recorded things about the Qianlong continent over the years

I think the XiuXhenists / XiuYaoist would not have bothered as they look down on humans on the QianLong continent as mere weaklings and not worth their time and trouble.

QY is the first human they've encountered that's powerful.

Interesting, I wonder where did the Dragon Rocky Lion and Hong Luan went. Maybe they killed themselves in the clash 10 years ago?

Ive been thinking. If we imagine this Planet as a sphere. And with the Qianlong continent in the north. Below that which is the Overseas Xiuzhen world, then below that is the Astral Chaotic Ocean, then below that is the Teng Long continent. What is on the other sides of the planet? I highly doubt the continents wrap themselves around the planet. And just how north is the Qianlong continent? From what we know so far, not north enough to be at the north pole which logically would mean a land of ice.

Also, they are coming from the south, I had a few doubts about the location of the 9th Sword and of the locations of the 3 Dynasties. Because from what it sounds like, the Chu/Qin Dynasty is located in the North East of the Ming Dynasty. I don't recall Qin Yu zigzagging to the southern section of the Qianlong continent when he left it in the first place so doesn't that mean he left straight from the Qin Dynasty? If yes, then why didnt the 8 Swords fly straight towards the Wilderness is makes up the whole of the East of the Qianlong continent? Instead the 8 Swords appear to go North then East. Otherwise technically speaking the 8 Swords should go in a continuous North East direction, bypassing any of the Dynasties.

It was also inferred from earlier descriptions of the Xiuzhen world that 9 Demons Hall is wedged between the Blue Water Mansion and Azure Dragon Palace (to be able to give 2 Caves each that are located north as they were closest to Qianlong continent).

Also, I wonder if the Ming Dynasty still exists any more, same with the Han Dynasty. I would think, with Qin De and Fengyuzi's power, they should have conquered the rest of the continent by now. Especially with Qin Yu's special Xiuzhen books which has techniques and stuff. Not to mention superior weapons (middle holy grade). And it was mentioned before that the other dynasties' Shangxian werent very powerful, as they admitted they were not as powerful as Xiang Guang and Qin Yu after they surveyed their battle. So at most, they would be at peak Jindan stage at most. Something that both Qin De and Fengyuzi should be able to overcome with their advantage of weapons and techniques.

I am not sure if the Qin clan has ambitions to conquer the whole continent; I believe they just wanted to avenge their mother (and ancestors? I don't remember).

My guess for the Wilderness would be that some other Xiuzhenist learned the location of the 9th sword (and one far more powerful than them for a new story arc to progress) and is in the Wilderness right now searching for it. Perhaps he captured or killed the two divine beasts. It might explain why the jade swords started acting so crazy...he has some sort of formation or sensed them and tried to brute force them to fly to him.

Simple, if his father was mortal and if Qin Yu has gone away for a long time (potentially decades), then they may not be alive anymore. But since Qin De is also a Xiuzhenist, then he is relatively speaking, immortal, assuming he doesn't die from poison or blade.

But I forgot, can Xiuzhenists at the jindan and yuanying stage die from old age? I know once you hit Dongxu you can effectively live forever (as a loose immortal).

Looks like Fengyuzi had no idea what he was talking about in going through the 6-in-9 Major HEavenly Tribulation. He described it as the Xiuzhenists 'calling forth' which implies he/she having the control as to when to undergo it. But as we now know, it is still a matter of enlightenment, as our protagonists now patiently wait for its arrival.

Now that we are on the topic of Xiuzhen immortality. Can Qin Yu merge his Core (the Dongxu equivalent of Stellar Transformations and assuming he gets there) with his Soul like how a Dongxu-stage can merge his soul with his yuanying? By extension, can Qin Yu become a loose immortal if he chose to/circumstances force him to?

Good point, however I'd like to think that Xiuzhenists do not harm mortals because it is beneath them to harm people who basically have no ability to even fight back. With the exception of perhaps some of the Xiumoists, I believe this to be true. Even the most powerful Xiumoist, Yi Da seems to be somewhat honorable as evidenced by his threat to one of his subordinates who criticised mortal's relative weakness.

As to whether these superpowers will resort to kidnapping to control Qin Yu remains to be seen as I would imagine Uncle Lan would act as a major deterrent. But who knows.

I wonder how long it will take for the other 5 powers to get their subordinates to arrive. The closest would of course be Stellar Tower followed by Azure Dragon Palace and Blue Water Mansion. But the Penglai Immortal Region and Purple Flame Dungeon will take at least 1.5 years, and that's only if their speed is as fast as those of the ones who came with Reverend Yan Xu whom I assume are at least Dongxu-stage.

Remember that Qin Yu just declared either the Qian long continent or the Qin Dynasty (I'm not sure which) as his territory. Besides Qin Yu, Hei Yu and Fei Fei, there are also numerous (like 8 at least) guys in the Stellar Tower who are at the Dongxu level, and then hundreds of Yuanying stage guys, and thousands of Jindans. I don't know the exact number but you get my point.

Attacking the territory that belongs to Stellar Tower is tantamount to declaring war, and probably both Azure Dragon and Three-Eyed Freak would then take the opportunity to remove the much-weakened Nine Dragons Hall.

Qin Yu, Li’er, Hou Fei and Hei Yu fly without stopping. First they pass Yan City then they pass Misty Villa. However, on the way Qin Yu does not see any of his close relatives. Therefore Qin Yu is now heading straight for the Imperial Palace.

“Junior sister, junior sister, okay?”

Under Li’er’s ‘oppression’, he finally yields.

“This is about right.” Li’er’s face relaxes into a smile. “All right, why haven’t you called your subordinates in? The other 5 powers have all already told their forces to come and search for the 9^th sword.”

Qin Yu says smilingly: “I’m not worried that I’m taking time either as my Stellar Tower is nearest the Qian Long continent. Forget it. I better send 10,000 guards to this place.” He takes out a transmitter and immediately messages the manager of the Stellar Tower -- Zhuang Zhong.

In the Stellar Tower,

Zhuang Zhong is being served by ladies-in-waiting and leisurely eating the fruits presented by various caves, feeling extremely comfortable.

Yan Rui is the leader among the 8 guardians so she is naturally the leader of this operation. After that order was shouted, the 10,000 guards of the 10 companies break out of the water directly under the command of the 4 guardians and fly north straight on their flying swords.

He can't hide his identity, unless he intends to never meet his family openly again, so it's better to just reveal it with a bold face. Uncle Lan scared these guys stiff anyway. The Di brothers want revenge, but they won't want to trade their lives for the lives of QY's mortal relatives. Even if QY achieves ascension before them and they kill QY's relatives afterwards, they won't be safe, because he may find a way to go back or may meet them again in the immortal realm.

Actually, I have to agree with ptsome110 on this one. If the Di brothers really hate Qin Yu that much, all they need to do is go on a massacre and to hell with the consequences. There are only 4 of them left and they are the strongest with 2 late Dongxu and 2 mid Dongxu. Combined with the fact that they are Purple Aquatic Dragons, very few individual Xiuyaoists can match them in the Overseas Xiuzhen world. Afterall, with the original 9, they were one of the superpowers even if they were the weakest one.

The real danger I foresee is that one or more of the Di brothers dying at Stellar Tower's hands and therefore pretty much forfeiting their status as a superpower. The most dangerous individuals are the ones with nothing to lose. Despite a major loss in collective power, I am sure that any single one of the Di brothers would have no trouble in slaughtering/kamikazing the Qin family (excluding Qin Yu). Not unless Qin De suddenly becomes a super expert or has round the clock protection by Qin Yu, Hou Fei or Hei Yu.

Actually, I have to agree with ptsome110 on this one. If the Di brothers really hate Qin Yu that much, all they need to do is go on a massacre and to hell with the consequences. There are only 4 of them left and they are the strongest with 2 late Dongxu and 2 mid Dongxu. Combined with the fact that they are Purple Aquatic Dragons, very few individual Xiuyaoists can match them in the Overseas Xiuzhen world. Afterall, with the original 9, they were one of the superpowers even if they were the weakest one.

The real danger I foresee is that one or more of the Di brothers dying at Stellar Tower's hands and therefore pretty much forfeiting their status as a superpower. The most dangerous individuals are the ones with nothing to lose. Despite a major loss in collective power, I am sure that any single one of the Di brothers would have no trouble in slaughtering/kamikazing the Qin family (excluding Qin Yu). Not unless Qin De suddenly becomes a super expert or has round the clock protection by Qin Yu, Hou Fei or Hei Yu.

The only reason why they were one of the superpowers was because they could do formidable barriers and techniques (which I assume required all 9 of them), and because they had the Treasure Palace. Now they don't have the Treasure palace, and they can't use their techniques anymore, basically they can only rely on their individual fighting power. None of them (individually) are a match for the other leaders (I'm assuming Reverand Yan Xu (?) is a formidable person, as he is at Kongming stage)

The only reason Three-Eyed Toad and Azure Dragon were wary of Nine Demons Hall (whatever its called) was because all nine dragons posed a threat only when united.

Yes, if they decide to do a suicide attack, they can definitely wreck Stellar Tower, but only at the cost of losing everything they've worked a few hundred/thousand years for, and then dying afterwards. I doubt that if a major power gets attacked, the other powers will do nothing. At the very least, they'll take to opportunity to sieze more territory.

These political relationships are always strange even in our world, so I think some of these details can be explained by "that's just the way it is" and shrug.

For example, Azure Dragon and 3 Eyed seem to have formed an alliance already...why didn't they just team up and kill the Di brothers and take their jade sword? Just Azure Dragon is enough to likely overpower them, adding 3 Eyed would make it a sure thing. Each was at least as fast and strong as Qin Yu, so they could have handled them the same way and pick off Di brothers one by one.

The kamikaze attack can just be explained by them not wanting to suicide just for the relatives of Qin Yu -- they can wait a few thousand years and maybe be fortunate enough to get strong enough to kill him directly.
