Did anyone read this novel? I heard there is little romance but I want to know if Lin Shu/Mei Chang Su ever love Princess Ni Huang???

It's been quite a while since I read this. My Lang Ya Bang books have arrived and waiting for me to do a re-read...

Going from memory, the novel is not explicit about their relationship or how/whether or not they were deeply in love. Lin Shu and Nihuang were betrothed to be married, and the novel used young, puppy love descriptions (eg piggyback rides, etc). You could interpret it as good friends or young lovers (my interpretation), but certainly they were both happy about the marriage arrangement. From the trailer, it does look like the drama is going to play up the romance between them and work with that room for interpretation.

Thanks. It is a nice song but not sure if it is because I have been listening to the version by the online singers quite frequently for the past 6 months, but I finds that the official version is somewhat... not as emotional as the online version. Maybe I need to get used to this singer. Thanks again for the MV. Can't wait for September.

And anyone watching "The Disguiser" at the moment? It is by the same production company and I am finding most of the supporting cast from NIF are in there! So far, "The Disguiser" is doing great! Hopefully, I will finish it before NIF starts on the 19th! Yips!
