Battle Formations

Which battle formation will reign supreme. Below are a few in no particular order:

1) Big Dipper Formation: Able to contain a Great level fighter.
2) Wu Dang seven heroes formation: Equivalent to 40/50 experts attacking at once.
3) Shaolin Varja Evil Subduing Ring: Seems virtually unbreakable by any single individual.
4) Beggar Guild's Dog Beating Formation: Sheer weight of numbers.

I just realized the one thing they all have in common: these formations only exist for righteous/orthodox sects! Makes me think they create these fancy formations and brag about it's prowess just so they can gang up on people "honorably"...

The bad guys just gang up on you without a fancy Heavenly Stars Warrior Bright formation.
