(just curious the charcters of Heishi, and do they lend meaning to it. I assume the hei is 黑? Is the shi ... 石?)

(I personally would do it this way: six kingdoms and fiftsevent In the first reading I was confused as to whether he was saying fifteen and seven. five and seven. fifteen and seventeen. It makes it clear the next paragraph, but it was a bit of a speed bump for me)
