Default Other in book Jianghu sayings? -

I am trying to think of other in-book jianghu wide quotes/sayings like 小李飞刀 例不虚发 from the wuxia novels.

Many characters had Jianghu Titles, but that is boring cos even small potatoes like Jiangnan 7 Freaks had titles.

Golden Lion King, Iron Palm Floats on Water, SWORD OF GOD, GOD OF SWORD Z(h)uo Bufan etc etc, these are all titles/nicknames. Probably North Qiaofeng, South Murong is something similar but that isn't something directly tied to one character.

So, any other quotes/jianghu axioms out there which are not so much titles/nicknames but rather popular sayings about certain attributes of the characters?

It's hard to think of any like the one you mentioned in particular - which is the name of an art/item, followed by the signature. There are many titles which function like descriptive attributes (such as "Will not eat human head" Li Dazui) but it's still a title at the end. The closest I can think of involves two people, "Solar Apex loves swords (or was it fight), Jade Flute loves women", but even that doesn't really tell much about the distinctive powers of the arts and weapons, just the character of the people.

Gu Long had more poetic ones than Jin Yong.

    He also had this one:

    月圓之夜, 紫禁之巔, 一劍西來, 天外飛仙!

Hmm, this one from JY might qualify?

Rather unwieldy though. Which is why I think in the serials, they shorten it most of the time to just 宝刀屠龙,号令天下

Well, for Murong Fu and the Murong family in general, you have - 以其人之道还治其人之身 as a popular saying about how they use the enemy's own abilities against them.

For "Night Rain over Xiaoxiang", Mr. Mo Da, there was a saying about him - 琴中藏剑,剑发琴音. Within the zither hides the sword, the sword which plays the music.

Is this what you are talking about?

How about someone like Doctor Ping Yizhi? His moniker is the Killer Doctor but he's often described with the saying of "one finger deciding life or death".

That's a very good one. Certainly was used generously at the beginning to mythify the Murongs.

He had a plaque at his home inscribed with:

    醫一人,殺一人。殺一人,醫一人。醫人殺人一樣多,蝕本生意決不做。

Heal one person, kill one person. Kill one person, heal one person. Healing and killing in equal amounts, loss-making business I will definitely not do.

The last bit was changed in the third edition to:

    賺錢蝕本都不做。

Money- or loss- making both I will not do.

Less 'cute', but more logical I suppose!

Yes, something like this. Not so much a title but a general saying about a person or skill or item.

Never read Chu Liuxiang, but is the "touching the snow without leaving a mark" phrase associated with him a lot?

Nothing poetic, but there's also the terrifying reputation that everyone repeats about TSTL never requiring >1 stance to kill anyone. Maybe it was a missed opportunity, but then again she wasn't supposed to be famous.

There's this famous saying about Chen Jinnan from Duke of Mt. If you have never met Chen Jinnan, you cannot call yourself a hero.
