Default How would JY cop out of a DY vs LHC scenario?

Specifically a novel end DY vs a novel end LHC.

    - Assuming DY's Bei Ming cannot absorb LHC's Yijinjing and LHC's Xi Xing has no effect on the superior Bei Ming Zhen Qi.

    - FCY mentioned that DG9J has no defensive strokes, so if the 6MSJ is fired from out of blade range, what is LHC going to do? Counterattacking would defy the imagination as I really don't see how he can close the range fast enough. It is not as if DY is slow when using 6MSJ.

    - At blade range, would DG9J be able to overcome LBWB? Or would it be a case of 'LHC can see the flaws in LBWB but it transforms into the next variation before he can exploit it'?

    Interesting match up.

It comes down to whether LHC can close the range between him and DY without being killed by 6MSJ.

My impression is that LBWB is more distinct for its confusion rather than speed and as DG9J is designed to see through fancy techniques, so long as LHC can get within striking distance he can hit DY.

First, maybe BMSG can leech YJJ.

If not, then DY would blast a few holes in non-vital areas of Chong'er. Nearly dead, Chong'er remembers a certain stance in DG9J that breaks all stances. You know the rest.

Oh, you are referring to _that_ stance where a half-dead Chong'er with both hands tied grabs a sword with 2 fingers behind his back and swings it with such a brilliant unimaginable suicidal move the Sweeper Monk and Xiao Feng and Xu Zhu standing 10 feet away in their best defensive stance will get stabbed in surprising positions?

Not as impressive as that time when Linghu Chong duelled against Zhang Sanfeng. While LHC could defeat Chongxu just by aiming for the centre of the Taiji circle, this isn't possible against the creator himself. After thinking for a while, LHC looks out of the page, onto the adjacent novels on the bookshelf, and stabs ZSF in the Junbao in the HSDS novel.

In another duel, LHC defeats his opponent by making the pages spontaneously combust. How can you break a stance when there is no story?

I hope you guys are joking, because the impossibility and hyperbole of the martial arts in SPW is one of the reasons I've never warmed to the story.

FCY said anything can be used as a weapon right? That includes the author's pen I assume.

Yes of course but how would it be described by JY? (unless he uses GL style fight description).

e.g. DY fires 6MSJ from over 10 feet out, does JY describe LHC blocking the sword chi (this would be against the words of FCY about no blocks) or just give LHC superhuman speed to close in the range and strike DY? Like all the DG9J feats, this would defy inter-spatial perception unless superhuman speed was involved.
