FULL MOON, CURVED SABRE is officially counted as a part of Gu Long's novel canon, and he indeed provided the original inspiration and wrote some of its early parts, but the bulk of the novel was composed by another writer, who naturally took the story in a different direction that did not necessarily reflect what Gu Long might have done. As such, do you consider FULL MOON, CURVED SABRE as a proper part of Gu Long's canon?

It also raises the question of how the story might have turned out differently had Gu Long personally written the entire story himself from start to finish.
