Sad to see the TVB forum dead these days. It was so lively back in the day. Anyway, I must say Miu Kiu Wai has aged well, very handsome still.

I think this is one of the better series that TVB has produced recently. For most of the series, the plot is quick and clever in keeping the audience guessing the allegiance of some characters. The production values are high with a lots of action scenes and fight scenes. The cast has chemistry and the veteran supporting casts keep the story flow nicely!

However, I dislike the slow-motion shots of people shooting guns and the chok-looking blade fights! I really dislike the sappy romance between one pair which drags on and on with terrible over-acting! There are strange inserts of comedy that spoil the intense mood. The ending has too many plot twists that makes it look rushed. I really enjoyed the first 25 eps but then the series went downhill from thereon.

Michael Miu is at his best in here, looking hot at 56. Elena is every effective and Benz should win Best Supporting for his multi-layered Foon Hei Gor!

I sort of like "Line Walker", but prefer "Black Heart, White Soul".

The best TVB series for ages since Gallen Lo's At The Threshold of an Era and Golden Faith and the Forensic Heroes trilogy. The ending though is anti-climatic and plot going downhill once 'Foon Hei Gor' is gone.
