Thanks foxs for the mention. I'm at Book 24 right now, and I'm stalled out so it looks like you'll catch me pretty soon. I've been reading a ton of Yue Guan and Yue Guan is unfortunately a much better writer than Huang Yi is. I'll probably pick this up again by the time you catch up.

I rather like Xu Xiling, but his story is attached to a bunch of characters that I have a hard time warming up to. And the sheer futility of Kou Zhong's story makes it rough to go through his sections. The bright spot is Shi Qingxuan. She's a pretty cool character and she's been used both sparingly and effectively so far.
