I concur. Saw that scene once as a child in ROCH '83. Went back to rewatch the series countless number of times later on but refused to watch that scene again. I always end up skipping it.

When Golden Flower nanny abducts a whole bunch of people to poison them but cutting off their ears, blinding their eyes, chopping off their arms to force the doctor to save them.

Worst in my head from reading:
When the bi-sexual villain Duke from A Step Into the Past rapes/molests/tortures/humiliates numerous women.

My biggest gross out moment was when Xie Xun and Chen Kun poke each others eyes with their fingers in the dark well. Something about people touching or poking their eyes really grosses me out big time.
