Smile Suggest me a Wuxia novel to translate

    Hi,

after leeching off other people's work for sometime, I have decide to use my spare time to translate an abandoned or a totally new novel.

I was thinking of either a fantasy or MMORPG novel.

My suggestion is: Peerless Under The Heaven Online (http://www.17k.com/list/88532.html) I have read some chapters and it seems interesting . If people are interested I can translate the first chapter.

If not, please give me your suggestions, thanks!

Mhh if you want to translate some good novel that was (sort of) abandoned there is joy of life. the chapter speed pretty much dropped to 1 chapter every 2 months or so, some guy is doing it on a whim the 33 chaps that are translated so far have been an amazing read.

If you think its rude to intrude on that you can always do your own reccomendation.

If you don't mind co-translating with another translator, try to head on over to GravityTranslations. Goodguyperson is translating Battle Through The Heavens and gravity already has a setup for multiple translators for zhan long, maybe you can work something out ;O, it would be amazing to see btth speed up a bit ^_^

note:http://gravitytranslations.com/about/recruitment/ < you can apply there

If i'm not mistaken the translator abandoned slaughter god because the author left the series incomplete at 200+ chapters

yeah, @superman00, this peerless is the 3rd part of the trilogy I'm currently translating.

@Tchupak: and since I've started this trilogy as a project of mine, I prefer that you translate other titles. But of course if you insist on translating it, I have no right to object . Also, maybe we can do a collaboration so the translated chapters can be released faster.

    Cheers!

Thank you for your suggestions guys.

@Krokolicious, I will read the beginning of Joy of live to get a feel about the plot. I prefer to start working alone first, since I have my own pace.

As fosk91 said, Slaughtered god got abandoned by the author

@Deathblade, I would like to translate a Chinese fantasy or MMORPG novel since I can't read Japanese.

@Superman00, can give me a small intro for 全职高手? Thanks

@Lingson, good luck on your translation, can't wait to read it

Have you considered Swallowed Star? It seems the current translator is extremely busy with school. Maybe you could link up with him and take over or collaborate?

Swallowed Star or BTTH would be awesome imo. Of course you'd be collaborating on BTTH with GoodGuyPerson which means even faster releases .

傲世九重天 also looks really good to me. Someone translated the first part of the prologue and two chapters of the Manhua are already complete. Edit: Looks like Nightbreeze is slowly translating this so might check with him before you take it if you want to. http://nightbreezetranslations.com/home/

I will ask the translators of Swallowed Star and Transcending The Nine Heavens if they are willing to let me translate it, but I think GoodGuyPerson found a new translator for BTTH.

@Tchupak: You can find the translation on this forum or directly at my site. I translated the title as:

So before you decide for sure.
    http://mangapark.me/manga/wangpai-yushi
    and
    http://mangapark.me/manga/segregated-world-du-shi-chu
For 2nd i know for sure that there is a novel for it.(couldn't find for some reasons) and for 1st if i remember correctly there is even a chinese anime for it so there must be book too.
If neither of those please you. This is VMMORPG like your "choice".Also quite easy to translate in my opinion.

Edit:Also is Joy of Life that good? Every new translator is ganked with that.(._.)

Joy of Life was pretty meh to me. Not bad mind you just meh. That said I can see why people do like it.

I'm just not as much of a fan of this type of reincarnation story and the pervertedness is a major turnoff. I mean the guy is writing a porn novel that he remembers from his old life and is having his younger sister read it? Bleh.

What's left of IET that isn't being translated? Also is there anything else form the author of Douluo Dalu that is worthy of being translated? I like his writing style.

Oh and even if BTTH has a new translator the more the merrier imo

*Fully admits to being a greedy leecher*

I think of all the IET novels..

    1) CD is being translated at a good pace
    2) ST is being translated at a good pace
    3) DE is being translated at a good pace
    4) SS is being traslated, but at a slower pace due to the translator being busy with RL stuff.

Hence the suggestion to pick up SS by taking over the project or collaborating with the current translator.

Another novel that I've been enjoying is Jiang Ye. But I don't really know what's the translator's status on that!

Ohh! I am also second on that Jiang Ye novel. It is interesting and would love to read more translated stuff about it. I think bingodude is doing the project with his friends, but I think that they might be a bit busy atm. You could try asking them if they would like to collaborate. Also, Desolate Era is another good read, currently being translated by IEatWatermelon. Not sure if he want to collaborate, feels like he like doing his own thing! (:

Iam just suggesting these novels because I just can't get enough of it. . Muahha

I only know Viet, so from what I'm able to read of it:

Known as the top players in online games Glory, for whatever reason he was expelled from the profession club. He now work in a small Internet cafe, however, he has 10 years of experience in the game, in the glory of the newly opened tenth district he rejoin the game, with memories of the past, and a homemade weapon unfinished, began to return to the pinnacle of the road.
