The Chinese invented many institutions that are taken for granted as staples of modern commerce - banking, food service, mail and shipping, etc.

I wonder if any enterprising Chinese businessperson in ancient wulin (not necessarily historical) times ever catered to the specific needs of wulin people?

Imagine someone back then with enough capital (e.g. a Seung Gwoon Gum Hung or Fok Yau type) investing in a chain of "wulin service stations" that provided food, weaponry, clothing, small loans, and medical supplies to the wulin set. They could potentially make a killing (no pun intended).
