Hòn Bà is a small islet belonging to Vũng Tàu city, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu province. This islet has an area of around 5000 m2 and is situated in Back beach. Hòn Bà is famous for miếu Bà (Bà temple) because of its sacredness. People from every corner of Vietnam, especially locals come to this island and pray for their family, their problems. Since this temple is believed to be capable of making dreams come true, tourists should visit this at least once if you want to learn Vietnamese culture.

Boat is the most convenient mean of transport when the sea level is high, however, there is a more interesting way to go to this islet, which is only exist when full moon appears: by foot. On 14 and 15 every month according to Moon calendar, the tide ebbs away, leaving behind a bumpy road full of sharp rocks and oysters.
