I finished the series and hope there will be a sequel to it... I want them to reveal what Wu Xin really is. It is very good, but lack the part "What is he"... a sad ending but really love it I didn't need to skip at all like other series.

Just finished this series and it's superb. The main actor portrayed Wuxin effortlessly good. I hope there is a sequel but i want YQL gone for good. We still need to know Wuxin background and his relationship with Bai liuli and Dabai etc. So i read all posts in here mentioned wuxin based on novel, too bad i can't read chinese, i really want to read it.

I really like this Chinese TV series a lot especially the genre and the new actors so I wrote a review to rant! I can't wait for the next season to film!

Elvis Han has become my favorite actor after watching this series. Every scenes of him is just so great especially the ones with Lord Gu and Yue Ya. I'm so looking forward to season 2. Sadly, no more Gina but super happy that Ian Wang is returning and more Elvis. Sebrina is such a great actress. Definitely looking forward to see her in season 2.

Never knew this drama exist, might've forgottenly skipped it because the poster didn't interest me. Somehow I saw Mike D'angelo as the cover in Youtube and thought he was Peng Guanyin, I clicked and the video actually lead me to the trailer where I figure Mike isn't the main lead and only showed up briefly...

But, it was a good and bombass trailer, what caught my great interest was the girl in red (Sebrena). I recognized her from Green Hill Fox as well, but she didn't impress me much in there. Never knew that she'll look totally different in bangs, and those damn bangs made her super cute. I love her very much in it. Yueya's bangs was unfortunately terrible because of the rainbow arc, and she probably doesn't match bangs at the same time. In CP5 she looked so much better.
But then turns out the drama actually didn't have that many scenes of Sebrina either... although the trailer and opening mostly showed her more LOL. Sebrina was on the extreme cute and innocent looks this time, and I am super amazed how she played evil so convincingly. Suddenly a fan now.

Yeah, Commander Gu was totally a very good comic relief!!! And Wuxin is really hot, first time seeing his acting.
Storyline was a bit slow and boring but all the characters made up for it. Excited to hear there will be season II with same casts.

season 2 fell into development limbo after the costume photoshoot , probably the response and confidence didn't hit a critical point for the investors


typical tangren productions .... the way they dragged bubujinxin sequel for a few years and the original cast have their own conflicting schedule unable to regroup .... eventually released it as a trainwreck disappointment with very little connection in plot

Didn't know they are Tangren. Yeah, that BBJX sequel was...omg how to describe it, no good description to say.

But maybe this time they don't need connection in plot since we don't want Wuxin to like another girl? I don't ship him with Yuya anyway, but we don't like guys liking multiple girls too. Don't want more and more amnesias to get rid of that...
Those posters were not that bad (once you saw season 1 and got used to everyone), only thing I would ask for is to give Sebrena her bangs back (I know some people hate bangs and I hate them too but this girl matches it) and the cute girl clothes although she is so MANGA HANDSOME lol.

I just started watching this; They have it subtitled on DramaFever.

SO far, so good. I remember growing up watching Liao Zhai and I used to be obsessed with trying to read more ghost stories, and hoping they'd make more series based on the stories. This one sort of fits the bill, as parts of the series are broken down where they're battling w/ a "bad guy."

I'm on episode five, Yue Ya gets sent back in time as Yue Qi Luo. I thought YY dressed up in Qing dynasty era clothing and the hair style made her look like Liu Yuxin when she did Scarlet Heart (Bu Bu Jing Xin), the one that was 10th prince's wife. LOL. I kept trying to Google the actresses, they look nothing alike in regular modern clothes.

Anyways, I hope they make a sequal or more supernatural type series like thist. ^_^

Wuxin intervenes with help from the mafia (Ding-Xiao-Mao and Gu Ji) , destroying BCL's bronze mirror.
Gu Ji helps BCL escape death in order to seek his (supernatural?) help in securing business deals.

Turmoil ... War , Wuxin and Sutao escape to an isolated island where Sutao's love grows deep. Where would they go next...
