Was Guo Jing based on Genghis Khan?

Been re-watching Legend of the Condor Heroes and was stuck by have similar these two characters were:

Background:
Both lost their fathers at a young age
Both were abandoned/betrayed by their own people
Both were raised by a strong willed single mother

Personalty:
Neither were book smart, but had natural affinity in their chosen field
Both greatly values brotherhood and loyalty
Both were fiercely patriotic

Interaction with others:
Both married very smart women who supported them in the background
Both were betrayed by a sworn brother
Both had a common enemy in the Jin

Given all their similarities, would it be possible that Jin Yong took inspiration from the real life GK when he created GJ.

In some aspects, perhaps, though the historic (and fictional) Temujin was notoriously lacking in the compassion that was an integral part of Gwok Jing's character. From what I understand, Gwok Jing's character was more directly modeled on his hero Ngok Fei (Yue Fei).

Gwok Jing and his mother were driven from their native homeland into the hinterlands of Mongolia by troops who were their own countrymen (Sung military officer Deun Teen Dak and his troops).

Not sure I would use the word compassionate to describe Yue Fei. Remember his poem about 'slating his thirst on barbarian blood and satisfying his hunger on nomadic flesh'. Rousing yes, compassionate not really.

Do we have any info on Yang Ye? I know his wife famously lead the female members of his family in war and the legend of his seven sons, but was there ever any info about his background?

The strange thing is that GJ defend Xiangyang on his own initiative and not appointed by the court. He is no court official.
By right, that can be considered a rebellion by the Sung court.
