You mean Guo Jing instead of Guo Jiang?

I notice some variations people uses are not necessarily the same because we could be using Chinese pinyin, Vietnamese variations and so on. For example, my variation for your HongLong18 will be XiangLong 18 Zhang which will be XL18P instead of HL18P.

    Addendum:

Han has pointed out the general pinyin acronyms and spellings that many forum members use, and can be considered a standard or lingua franca for the forum. There are, however, numerous variations depending on the native languages of the individual members.

Pls feel free to point out any mistake and add your suggestions.

My goal is to produce a list that is easy to read and use, and hopefully would be of use in reducing the instances where in every thread or so, someone will ask about what the acronym or terms meant.

p/s: my pinyin is way bad, and would appreciate any corrections.

    Thanks SOL,

    Edited as per your corrections.

Don't know who XYZ is, cantonese name?

Did not add the three techniques above as their use were not extensive throughout DGSD and there's too much acronyms as things are.

I experienced the same thing with you back when I first joined SPCNet. Eventually, however, you'll get used to these acronyms. Nevertheless, two thumbs ups for Han Solo for starting this thread

SPCNET is cool. I never thought I would find an ENGLISH forum on topics such as Wu Xia and TV series. Before I had to rely on reading chinese forums. But of course my chinese is quite hopeless (though I can understand the wu xia novels well enough) so this has really been a HEAVENLY discovery!!! A big THANK YOU to whoever created this!!

By the way, how long ago did this forum begin?
