My favourite HQG so far is Lau Dan's in 1983. Bryan Leung's 2008 ver is good, but Lau Dan's my favourite... I'm not sure if this 2017 HQG will even be a North Beggar I'm warming up to, but I'll give him a shot.

man this HQG is not gonna have the gravitas to handle some of the scenes later on. I already dread watching this HQG from the preview of him teaching GJ 18 dragons. he looks ridiculous and doesn't command absolute respect.

His hair and funky mustache is not working. He looks like a cosplayer.

I have been enjoying all 8 episodes since this adaptation has been faithful to the novel. I appreciate if you guys keep me updated when new episodes have been uploaded to YouTube or given English subtitles.

Yes it's GREAT! I do however worry upon seeing the clips of next 4 episodes that it might not be 'vile' enough though. I shouldn't pre-judge at all based on the preview clips, so I am hoping the vile stuff coming strong.

i like the classic instruments used in this MV, but when it changes to the vocal, I lost interest. I don't think it's the face of the singer only, which is so effeminate, but the song and the beautiful classical instruments just do not seam well for me. But hey, I might like it after understanding its context or viewing it in an official MV...
