Martial Universe 武动乾坤 is a Chinese TV series adapted from a novel of the same name by Tian Can Tu Dou 天蚕土豆 starring Yang Yang, Crystal Zhang, Wu Chun and Ashton Chen. The novel was published in 2011 and viewed over 32 million times within months after its release to tell an epic fantasy adventure that resonates with the male demographics born in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

The premise is about a young man under appreciated by his own tribe yet he chances upon a stone talisman that changes his life, igniting a series of events that shape him into a martial arts hero.

Since he was a child, Lin Dong's talents have been undermined by his own tribe. A mysterious stone talisman introduces Lin Dong to the art of cultivation, and he travels across the lands in order to hone his skills. He gets entangled with the various wulin sects, heros of the pungalistic world as well as China's 3 greatest factions; including his once out-of-reach rival Lin Langtian (Wu Chun).

checking ep1, hmmm for opening eps it's kind of confusing, and LinDong quite a lil bit annoying or bcause the face and the character didn't fit? or overacting?? don't know. will check more eps tho
